MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma /Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in nursing after registration
  • Experience coordinating and/or managing health service delivery projects or research studies
  • SANC registered as a Professional Nurse
  • NIMART certified and experience in ART Management
  • Valid dispensing Licence
  • Intermediate level computer literacy (Excel)
  • Valid code 08 driver’s licence
  • Fluent in English or any other South African languages

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF POSITION

To provide a comprehensive Wellness mobile health service by providing HIV testing and counselling services linked to screening and diagnosing clients for TB/STI’s. Provision of treatment and clinical care to HIV & TB patients and ensure successful linkage to care and adherence with specific focused on the sex worker.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct regular meetings to discuss progress and address challenges to continuously improve programme implementation.
  • Liaise with public health facilities and other relevant role-players – attending meetings etc.
  • Work with the Site Manager and the outreach staff to ensure the sensitisation of service providers to the needs of sex workers
  • Provide primary health care (PHC) services and comprehensive HAST services
  • Work with the Site Manager to ensure the implementation of the programme’s operational plan
  • Weekly quality assurance cycle for reliable and accurate HIV patient results
  • Consolidate data and other information from the team, prepare and submit monthly and quarterly reports to M&E Officer and Regional Coordinator
