QUALIFICATIONS (ESSENTIAL)

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Engineering or Quality-related field.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle construction, its repair and maintenance
• procedures
• Strong skills in using measuring tools
• Proficiency in understanding and reviewing technical documents and dimensional drawings
• Good attention to detail, essential for identifying discrepancies
• Solid knowledge of document management processes
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Russian - fluent, English - B1+

QUALIFICATION (DESIRED)

• Exceptional accuracy and record-keeping skills
• Basic knoweldge of IAFT 16949 quality management system
• Experience in conformity control of product specifications
• Knowledge of certification requirements for automotive market products and auto parts

EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years experience in lead of incoming inspection position for automotive production
• Experience in using various types of measuring instruments (overall dimensions, weight, hardness, etc.)
• Experience in problem solving and identifying solutions in a timely manner
• Prior experience working in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
• Experience in coordinating with different stakeholders like cross-functional teams

JOB PURPOSE

To execute incoming inspection for supplied parts in large volumes in accorance with quality requirements to ensure accuracy and compliance of specs, drawings, dimensions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparation and implementation of incoming inspection plans. Maintain continuous improvement for the incoming inspection process
• Definition of methodology, necessary measurement tools, safety requirements for incoming inspection of supplied parts. Include these requirements in work instruction and provide them to incoming inspection staff.
• Quarantine zone management, organisation of block/unblock activities in dependence with parts quality status.
• Organization of additional checks based on PQRM information for current and in supply chain products
• Submitting complaints to suppliers for defined non-conformities with detailed description, photo evidence and cost of parts non-quality calculation
• Organization of sampling and delivery for laboratory testing to ensure samples intactness
• Special inspection of samples for new article/supplier launch, preparation of detailed description, photo evidence and final conclusion
