Job Description

MISSION

We are seeking for a professional to contribute to the growth of our Transportation Electrification team in Canada. You will work with clients in the public transit sector, private fleet operators (freight and urban delivery), municipalities and governments on studies and consulting services aimed at facilitating the adoption of zero-emission vehicles and clean-fuel recharging and refueling infrastructure and technologies.
You’ll have the opportunity to work on multidisciplinary projects with professionals from a variety of technical backgrounds (mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, architecture, finance, etc.) and to play an active role in supporting CIMA+’s internal Transportation Electrification Committee and its strategic vision. You’ll be joining a team of over 80 people working in this fast-growing market.
We offer a flexible hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to work from home and from our offices in the Metropolitan area.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or other related technical field.
  • Master’s degree in engineering and/or management (asset)
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in transportation electrification, infrastructure consulting, consulting services or experience in data analysis and techno-economic analysis.
  • Computer skills: Excel, Python (asset).
  • Ability to produce good quality strategic and technical reports and presentations.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, team spirit and a passion for reducing greenhouse gas emissions (asset).
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and English. Bilingualism is an essential requirement for this position in order to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including our customers, partners and cross-sectoral teams nationwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sustainable mobility strategies for our customers, from vision to change management support
  • Coordinate and carry out multidisciplinary fleet transition studies, opportunity studies, electric mobility strategies, benefit-cost analyses, site selection analyses for charging equipment, and energy consumption and demand modeling.
  • Write technical and strategic reports, guides and presentations.
  • Present results to municipal executives and councils.
  • Participate periodically in industry conferences and events to represent CIMA+.
  • Develop proposals in response to tenders and direct client requests.
  • Help shape the team’s growth and vision
