QUALIFICATIONS
Successful candidates will:
- Hold a doctorate degree (Ph.D.) and postdoctoral experience in Radiation Sciences, Radiobiology or the equivalent.
- Have 2 to 4 years of postdoctoral training in a relevant field.
- Have experience in the teaching/training of students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Have a strong interest and abilities for teaching, university pedagogy as well as for research, development and innovation.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills for efficient and harmonious interactions with internal and external partners.
- Have an excellent publication record.
- Demonstrate an ability to create and maintain agreeable relationships, to collaborate with clinicians and to work as part of a team.
- Be able to teach in French within 2 years. Laboratory activities can be in English.
- Comply with the guidelines on responsible conduct of research.
Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will:
- Teach in the three university cycles in programs of FMSS and actively engage in the supervision of medical residents and postdoctoral fellows.
- Supervise graduate students.
- Develop a competitive research program funded by external grants.
- Obtain a salary award from provincial or national programs.
- Contribute to University life and to society.
