QUALIFICATIONS

Successful candidates will:

  • Hold a doctorate degree (Ph.D.) and postdoctoral experience in Radiation Sciences, Radiobiology or the equivalent.
  • Have 2 to 4 years of postdoctoral training in a relevant field.
  • Have experience in the teaching/training of students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Have a strong interest and abilities for teaching, university pedagogy as well as for research, development and innovation.
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills for efficient and harmonious interactions with internal and external partners.
  • Have an excellent publication record.
  • Demonstrate an ability to create and maintain agreeable relationships, to collaborate with clinicians and to work as part of a team.
  • Be able to teach in French within 2 years. Laboratory activities can be in English.
  • Comply with the guidelines on responsible conduct of research.

Responsibilities:

Successful candidates will:

  • Teach in the three university cycles in programs of FMSS and actively engage in the supervision of medical residents and postdoctoral fellows.
  • Supervise graduate students.
  • Develop a competitive research program funded by external grants.
  • Obtain a salary award from provincial or national programs.
  • Contribute to University life and to society.
