SUMMARY

The Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering (IOE) at the University of Michigan (U-M) invites applications for faculty positions at all levels (assistant, associate, and full professor) for an appointment beginning September 2024..
Our department is multidisciplinary, balancing theoretical and methodological research and applied research interests.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS*

You have or are near completion of a Ph.D. and demonstrate a commitment to high-quality research and evidence of teaching potential.
We will consider candidates in all areas related to Industrial and Operations Engineering, including Operations Research, Human Factors & Ergonomics, Data Analytics, and related disciplines.
The many application areas in the department include operations management, health & human safety, energy & sustainability, mobility & transportation, public policy, manufacturing, and robotics.
