KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

We are looking for an experienced Profit Analyst .

  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English. Spanish will be a plus.
  • Strongly Analytical and Numerate. Excel and Power Point skills.
  • Commercial acumen
  • Pricing experience desirable, but training will be given
  • Excellent influencing & negotiating skill. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in team environment and build effective relationships
  • Ability to synthesise complex information in to an executable strategy
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and SAP (Advantageous but not essential).
  • Experience with IT distribution industry will be a plus.

Responsabilities:

  • Play a strategic role utilising analytical, commercial, and pricing capability to drive pricing strategy and decision making across the business
  • Work collaboratively within the profit team as well as both Sales and Product Marketing, this role is accountable for delivering essential company targets and KPIs
  • Support a team of profit managers, this role involves executing key pricing strategies at a tactical level, including pricing maintenance, price movement monitoring and also identifying opportunities to maximise profit. The primary measures of performance are trade profit margin and revenue
  • Pricing expert for Business Units and Sales Divisions
  • Accountable for executing tactical actions in line with pricing strategy
  • Accountable for trade profit margin
  • Work with Profit Managers & Analysts to test elasticity of demand
  • Delivering regular vendor and customer reviews to track performance and deliver pricing action plans
  • Work closely with analytics team to monitor and act on market developments, spot trends early, and develop and test strategies
  • Custodians of Best Practice and the Continuous Improvement process
  • Subject matter expert for key pricing tools and activities
  • Responsible for supporting Product Marketing to deliver weekly and quarterly forecasts
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders including Sales Managers, Category Managers, and Business Manager
