ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client, located in Toronto, is a not-for-profit organization and is Project Accounting Analyst to join their team for a short-term contract.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Finance/Business
• Must have 1+ years of relevant work experience with accounts payable exposure
• Strong Excel skills are required
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and maintain attention to detail in an environment requiring flexibility and adaptability
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  This position requires you to be on site 3 days per week, only candidates in the Greater Toronto Area will be contacted#RIMC

Reporting to the Manager, Program Accounting the Project Accounting Analyst will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Reviewing, coding and processing accounts payable invoices and ensure invoices are in-accordance with guidelines
• Track project expenditures to budget
• Prepare month-end journal entries related to the project
• Prepare month-end reconciliations
• Assist with recording revenue in accordance to GAAP
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding project expenditures
• Other ad hoc duties as required
