The Student Services Office at Central European University (CEU) invites applications for a Program Assistant position.
The initial contract is for one year with the possibility of renewal.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Teams, Planner) and familiarity with CANVA and social media platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in student affairs, event planning, or program coordination preferred.
  • Fluency in English and German; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive campus community

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of student events, workshops, student clubs and activities aimed at promoting student engagement and fostering a sense of community.
  • Provide administrative support including room booking, event creation for SharePoint and website.
  • Maintain student center equipment and equipment rental database, and coordinate with all stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and dissemination of promotional materials, newsletters, and social media content to raise awareness of upcoming events and opportunities.
  • Support during opening hours of the Student Center to assist with various items.
