Description:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  • A two-year diploma in a related field, a combination of education and experience, may be considered
  • Exceptional time management, organization, planning, communication, priority-setting skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgment are required
  • Advanced technical skills are required, including online collaboration tools, word processing, spreadsheet and database software, internet and email, and other office equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work within a variety of areas, both independently and in a team environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of a college environment and academic structure is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to student inquiries via phone and email
  • Organize meetings in Microsoft Outlook, prepare agendas, take minutes, and look after all meeting logistics as per the meeting chair’s request
  • Accurately input data related to timetables, marketing requests, human resources, and budgets
  • Liaise with other college departments to provide consistent and efficient support to students and staff
  • Maintain student records and program documents, including distribution lists, purchase requisitions, office and lab supplies, room bookings, and course roster
