SUMMARY
The position is responsible for evaluating educational offerings to ensure course content and delivery meet operational objectives.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Participates in establishing operational goals and objectives for the Education team to meet operational targets.
- Works with subject matter experts and contractors on course development and creation of learning materials.
- Evaluates courses to ensure course content and delivery achieves desired outcomes and identifies opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- Provides oversight and guidance to field staff and contracted instructors delivering education programs for BCSFA.
- Develops, tracks and evaluates program metrics and key performance indicators to measure program performance.
- Represents BCFSA with licensees, suppliers, community partners, and other stakeholders to advance educational goals.
- Develops and improves policies, procedures, and processes for the development and implementation of regulatory education.
- Manages projects that incorporate best practices in the development of high-quality courses.
- Contributes to the team’s development of internal work practices (e.g., policies, procedures and tools).
- Provides orientation and training to internal and/or external stakeholders within area of responsibility.
- Contributes to, participates in, and supports organizational business transformation initiatives.
- Provides supervision, coaching and mentorship to the Program Development Coordinator to allow them to achieve their full potential.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in course design, development, delivery, and evaluation.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
EDUCATION
- Degree in Education or Adult Learning and considerable experience developing courses using blended learning methods, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
