Job Description
As Program Director you will have ownership and management of the governance and the operating rhythm across a group of aligned programs of work. The role will report to the Transformation Director and will work closely with senior leadership teams and will be responsible for delivery of integrated business and digital transformation outcomes and making sure the desired benefits are achieved. Strong executive engagement and stakeholder management skills are essential.
The role can be based preferably in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

Overview:

  • Lead large-scale HR transformation projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of HR technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and employee engagement.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive HR technology strategy that includes implementation, and enhancement.
  • Manage complex project deliveries involving multiple stakeholders across different geographies.
  • Utilise commercially focused problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and drive strategic outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the HR function.
  • Provide leadership and development to the team, ensuring high performance and skill advancement.
  • As a senior leader, this role is required to coach, support and develop the supporting program team leaders on best practices, ensuring that the overall team’s work-plan is delivered, with a pipeline of skills to support future team capability requirements.

  • Leadership and Coaching: Offer leadership, guidance, and coaching to Program Managers and Project Managers to enhance their effectiveness and professional growth.
  • Resource Allocation: Make strategic decisions regarding the allocation of resources and manage cross-program dependencies to optimise overall transformation success.
  • Methodology Enhancement: Drive continuous improvements in delivery methodologies, tools, and practices across the transformation landscape.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee vendor relationships, including negotiations and management of contracts to support project needs.
