Description:

GENERAL SKILLS:

• Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise c-level executives, and leading and overseeing program strategy development from inception through to project close-out and any required transition to operations, business planning, benefits identification and organization funding requests for I&IT programs
• Experience leading and supporting execution of formal enterprise executive governance framework/process
• Experience analyzing program and organization’s environments to identify potential risks and issues; articulates and prioritizes issues and risks to senior executives; recommends mitigation strategies to decision-makers to ensure projects are delivered on schedule
• Experience developing and executing on complex stakeholder management and communication plans, as well as supervising the development and communication of program related updates
• Demonstrated experience understanding and articulating I&IT executive expectations and translating into program deliverables
• Experience directing, managing and leading multidisciplinary project teams including multiple Project Managers, each responsible for an element of the project and associated matrix team members
• Experience monitoring and managing the cost, risk, schedule, technical performance, and program impact of each of the component projects
• Experience providing a program/portfolio view of project inter-dependencies and external project dependencies, monitoring and reporting on exposure levels
• Exercises a range of leadership responsibilities including the role of coach
• Experience developing complex budgets based on multiple funding channels and cross organization dependencies.
• Uses significant innovation in the planning, analysis and execution of tasks
• Experience directing stakeholder consultation, facilitation and consensus building. Provides program, portfolio, and/or project reporting to multiple stakeholders
• Experience leading strategies and actions to overcome resistance to change and capitalize on forces in support of change
• Experience seeking new and unique business processes, technologies and products to benefit programs, portfolios and projects
• Experience building positive relationships within c-suite executives, team members and external parties
• Experience contributing to improvements in life cycle based on lessons learned and past experience
• Adheres to organization’s standards and best practices for program
• Experience scheduling and organizing meetings/events and developing agendas
• Ensures technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations etc.).

• Expert knowledge of and extensive experience leading organizations through change, including political acuity, effective stakeholder management approaches and experience collaborating across the enterprise

IT KNOWLEDGE - 30%

  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with I&IT technologies and industry standards.
  • Knowledge of I&IT operations and the service management framework based on ITIL.
  • Knowledge of information handling technology including storage, handling, and accessibility.
  • Knowledge and experience with standard I&IT enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Knowledge of AI capabilities, technologies, products, trends preferred.

Must Haves:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting c-level executives, and managing and supporting enterprise-wide strategically important governance processes to meet business goals.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with c-level executives and partners across the enterprise to effectively manage and report on the program in accordance with the governance framework.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret executive perspectives and expectations, and translate into program deliverables and actions

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide program management leadership and expertise for large scale, highly complex, high profile and high-risk initiatives that are enterprise-wide
• Responsible for governance of the OPS’s program of Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects to ensure successful delivery
• Prepare business case(s) and planning submission(s) to communicate program strategy and to support program approvals
• Facilitate, oversee and support execution of the formal enterprise governance framework for the AI program, including evolution of the framework as needed
• Manage and guide stakeholders across the OPS who are seeking approval for AI initiatives
• Ensure AI program is cost effective and efficient, meets strategic objectives and required timelines, and is in line with the Enterprise AI approach for the OPS.
