Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Program Manager will be a pivotal contributor in advancing the central initiatives of the business unit. In this role, you will oversee external collaborations and contribute to cross-functional turnkey projects to ensure consistent and efficient execution to help the client accelerate their process to the clinic. This role will also require coordination and participation in activities, meetings and events between core teams and key clients across the Asia Pacific and Japan region.
Given the complexity of the field, you will collaborate with internal cross-functional members to ensure a complete solution is presented to the clients and ensuring that vital technical support is in place for the adoption and implementation of our solution. You will also need to handle project management tools to ensure accurate tracking of key deliverables around timelines, results, consumables, as well as revenue contributions for all strategic projects.

QUALIFICATION

  • Requires BSc, MSc, or PhD in Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field.
  • Proficient in using PowerBI, Salesforce, and Program Management Tools and adept in data analytics and CRM.
  • 5+ years of commercial and project management experience.
  • Able to learn new lab design tools and software for developing proposals.
  • Consistent track record in influencing and driving accountability across a matrixed organization that includes commercial representatives, R&D scientists, product management and marketing development representatives.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, articulating sophisticated concepts to broad audiences.
  • Display judgment, tact, and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Self-managing and self-motivating, capable of prioritizing tasks effectively to meet timelines and expectations.
  • Is curious, inquisitive, innovative, and wanting to always do better. Passionate with a positive demeanour, and possess a proactive, resourceful, ‘can-do’ spirit!
  • Existing client-facing experiences and deep product knowledge would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate inputs across divisions, build combined presentation proposals for the team and coordinate meetings with key clients.
  • Coordinate regular project meetings with client and core team (including agenda development and sharing minutes), handle performance indicators, develop timelines, and track revenue contribution via a management system.
  • Maintain clear communication lines with regional and global members, providing regular updates on project status and achievements, and raising barriers to execution to ensure projects are completed on time with high quality.
  • Organising, coordinating, and hosting key client visits across all Thermo Fisher Scientific Singapore sites.
  • Business support for critical business initiatives and events. Initiate meetings with customers to drive business growth.
  • Facilitate and on selected occasions, lead training sessions for internal and external partners across the region.
