Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As a Program Manager for Data & Reporting you will be at the forefront of a major technology-heavy delivery program, orchestrating and facilitating cross-functional teams in creating and executing the program’s vision.
A critical strategic partner to the Executive Program Sponsor and Head of Transformation, you will provide transparency into holistic program performance as well as manage program finances and mitigate risks, course correct issues, and optimise spend and resourcing in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
This role will suit a seasoned professional with a strong background in transformation program management, senior stakeholder engagement, executive level communication, agile/lean methodologies, and a deep understanding of technology delivery in the retail sector.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

  • Lead cross-functional teams in establishing and executing the roadmap to deliver on the program’s strategic vision through agile/lean methodologies comprising working rhythms that ensure efficient and effective program delivery.
  • Act as strategic partner to the Executive Program sponsor ensuring full and expedient transparency into program performance and areas where course correction is required.
  • Provide innovative ideas to optimise program spend and accelerate benefits realisation.
  • Identify and assess risks and issues at the program level, developing mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Manage program-level dependencies, identifying solves with minimal impact to overall program delivery.
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication among team members, fostering a culture of empowerment and accountability.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor program budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
  • Collaborate with finance and relevant stakeholders to optimise resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify and mobilise necessary resources and capabilities required for program success.
  • Work closely with People & Culture and other departments to ensure the availability of skilled personnel and other essential resources.
