Description:

Manages the day-to-day operations of the MPH Online Program. Oversees daily admissions operation as well as the outreach and communication process for all prospective students and applicants. Ensures that coordinator monitors and tracks student queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses to prospects. Meets regularly with Director and faculty of the Online MPH program and the Assistant Dean of Students to discuss new student enrollment for all program as well as overall status of current students in the Online MPH program.

  • Manages the day-to-day operations of assigned area or particular functions of the Student Affairs department to meet goals and objectives. Provides operations and administration direction.
  • Contributes to management strategy and participates in strategic planning, staffing decisions, policy development, and other key areas for the Online MPH program.
  • Establishes priorities, assigns functions, and maintains quality control. Assists with Online MPH student advising and program orientation, check in sessions, Alumni Advisory Board, and newsletter.
  • Advises senior management in implementing programs, new initiatives, and special projects.
  • Recommends and implements procedures and practices to improve efficiency and improve student services. Assists with continuing education events. Supervises use and implementation of CRM systems (Constant Contact and SOPHAS) to ensure that email communications and event registration are well coordinated. In collaboration with the Assistant Dean of Students and the marketing/communications team, develops email communication campaigns, website and social media engagement content, publications, and advertisements.
  • Assists in developing partnerships throughout the University in order to provide excellent student services and attain departmental goals and objectives. Collaborates with program director and Online MPH faculty to establish enrollment targets and strategies for new student enrollment.
  • Participates with Program Director to develop budget plans and monitors expenditures and revenues, as necessary. Develops and provides quarterly point-in-time admission practicum placement reports to college leadership.
  • Evaluates program operation in meeting stated objectives.
  • Recommends or develops, as needed, a strategic plan(s) for the program. Implements strategic plan. Collaborates with program director and Online MPH faculty to establish enrollment targets and strategies for new student enrollment and retention.

  • Participates as a member of various divisions, campus and university committees, and represents the sponsored institute, center, or program at various community and student functions. Represents Stempel College and the Online MPH program at local and national recruitment events.
  • Assists the Director of Educational Programs and Workforce Development with the management of the continuing education programs of the college. Communicates with all the college’s units. Compiles a master list of all CE events for the Stempel college. Completes and submits CE reports requested by the university’s Academic Planning and Accountability Department and the reports requested by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.
  • Assures compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Recommends changes in policies and procedures.
  • Facilitates and evaluates quality improvement efforts and develops quality improvement tools.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate specialization and four (4) years of related experience, or Master’s degree in an appropriate specialization and two (2) years related experience.
