SUMMARY:
The Program Manager will provide a program manager, stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany or Vicenza, Italy, who shall be responsible for the performance of the work, contract compliance and quality control. The program manager shall possess experience in managing large- scale government projects, and familiar with government policies and procedures. This role will have full authority to act for the contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of this contract. The PM or alternate shall be available between 0800 and 1700 (local time), Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays.
Responsibilities:
NECESSARY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Track record of providing efficient, effective operational / program management execution
- Experience in providing accurate program reporting/tracking
- Ability to identify and escalate contractual issues
- Track record of efficient, effective program management and execution
- Expert communicator who promotes constant open and honest communication
- Knowledgeable of techniques to anticipate and resolve program inefficiencies
- Must be able to adjust to changes in priorities, schedules, and budget to ensure program outcomes
- A strong sense of urgency and ability to manage deadlines
- Ability to build relationships
- The ability to operate at the senior level; influence, negotiate and close
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, experience providing presentations to large groups
- Proficient Microsoft Office user (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Word a must)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience in maintaining and executing program/complex project schedules
- Previous experience in leading related program services on assigned operational support
- Ability to pass the National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
- Must be a US citizen
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- A project management professional certification is preferred
