PROGRAM MANAGER II

As the need for our services grows and becomes increasingly complex, Catholic Charities is working to adapt and respond. We respond in three ways – preventing poverty, meeting basic needs in times of crisis, and creating pathways out of poverty.
WAGE RANGE: $59,000-$68,000/annually
JOB SUMMARY: Catholic Charities is seeking a self-motivated leader who is dedicated, resourceful, compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally aware to serve as a Program Manager II at its Mary Frey Opportunity Center location.
This position is responsible for the management of a specific program, fundraising and funding proposals and contract compliance activities. They will provide input on policy and procedure changes, policy implementation, planning and development of new and existing program services, and budget preparation and management.
They are responsible for the delivery of client services within Catholic Charities standards, and legal and licensure requirements. They will participate in conferences, training, and in divisional and agency strategic planning process, as requested by the direct supervisor.
They are also responsible for more than one program and/or manage a program with considerable complexity and/or larger numbers of staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERTISE:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Must have at least three (3) years of supervisory experience.
  • Post-secondary education preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance coverage.
  • Ability to work with diverse and/or low-income populations, including those who may be experiencing homelessness, unstable housing, and/or mental illness required.
  • Current social work licensure (or eligibility), if required by program.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the program meets accreditation, licensing, and best practice standards.
  • Ensures data tracking and compliance requirements are met. Prepares reports and statistical information as requested.
  • In conjunction with HR, recruits, hires, coaches, reviews, supervises, and terminates as necessary program staff members. Builds team of professional colleagues.
  • Collaborates with the Volunteer Coordinator in the placement of volunteers and interns.
  • Responsible for reviewing and ensuring the relevance, accuracy, and timeliness of data and reporting for purposes of accountability and client outcomes.
  • Works with direct supervisor to develop and implement program vision and goals.
  • Connects with the community via outreach, and through additional methods, to ensure program information is accessible and available to the community.
  • Works with supervisor and Development staff to monitor and/or negotiate contracts/grants as required.
  • Develops and implements multiple and/or complex program strategies and goals.
  • Responsible for ensuring the timely completion of program billing.
  • Manages multiple program budgets, including revenue, expenses, and capital budgets.
  • Other duties as assigned.
