Summary:

Responsibilities:

The Program Manager, Innovation will be responsible for leading project teams and managing and leading all project elements (scope, schedule and budget). This role will provide input to IT software and hardware planning, design, configuration, implementation and transition to operational structures for all IT Innovation Infrastructure systems and equipment within the scope of the NSPH project. It is anticipated that this role will coordinate directly with PDHIS (previously IMITS - PHSA) network and infrastructure teams, various clinical and operational working groups and system vendors.

  • Care Coordination Centre (Command Centre)
  • Patient Connection Device (Integrated Bedside Terminal (IBT))
  • Wireless Staff Communications
  • Digital Patient Status Boards (Patient Tracking Boards)
  • Housekeeping Systems
  • Portering Systems
  • Data Analytics
  • Food & Nutrition Services Systems
  • Digital Room Displays (Clinical Indicator Signage)
  • Corporate Systems (Education, HR, Finance, Medical Affairs)
  • Staff Assignment (real-time digital assignment to patients and roles)

The Program Manager, Innovation provides leadership, stakeholder engagement and management, program planning, coordination and execution and oversight of teams from design through to construction and commissioning. This position ensures the delivery of services to meet the goals, objectives, and strategic directions of the NSPH Project and Providence Health Care. This position also leads and participates in a variety of committees as required and establishes positive working relationships with stakeholders and project team members.
