Description:

Nextant is looking for a driven Program Manager Non-Tech 1 to join our client team. The main function of a non-IT program manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
  • 2 years of experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with: Microsoft 365 apps - outlook/teams
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with : Share point
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with : Organization (showcased projects with deadlines)
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Sharepoint site design
  • Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Maintain and update the Federal readiness and learning Sharepoint sites with readiness content, session recordings, and schedules
  • Assist in developing content for Federal new hire onboarding and assist with onboarding logistics such as scheduling rooms, sending invitations, arranging meals and building access, etc.
  • Assist in developing readiness content by working with SMEs to refine information and resources and make it consumable for employee training
