JOB SUMMARY:

Program manager for squeak and rattle analysis

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct extensive market research and develop a 3 Horizon product roadmap addressing current needs as well as anticipating future trends to solve squeak, rattle and other issues related to the perceived quality of a product. Utilize data science to find efficient and innovative ways of addressing these phenomena. Extend the solutions applicability to a wide range of market outside Automotive. Proactively participate and act as a global ambassador in Squeak and Rattle forums such as SRCA (Squeak and Rattle Competence Arena), consortiums and best practice groups.
  • Stay on top of internal Product Activities and in collaboration with Altair Product Managers work toward reducing silos and unifying efforts. Create software specifications, identify and solve technical and/or software issues, oversee and guide solution implementation, monitor the overall quality, provide sufficient documentation.
  • Release and promote solutions to the market, including roll-out plans, webinars, trainings, support, present at conferences. Transfer knowledge to our geographically distributed Altair teams to increase overall awareness of the existing and new solutions.
  • Participate in related service projects, support and direct cross functional project teams during execution. Gather and provide project cost estimates, prepare proposals and estimates for a timely delivery in collaboration with the local Altair offices.
