Job Description

Essential Functions

  • Manage and optimize the flow of value through the ART using various tools such as the Program Kanban and Jira Align.
  • Ensure pre-PI planning readiness by fostering a continuous exploration process to drive the vision roadmap, feature backlog creation, and feature prioritization.
  • Oversee and help teams conduct PI Planning while incorporating an element of fun into the event.
  • Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops and by coaching, assess the agility level of the ART and help the train improve.
  • Help establish and summarize PI objectives and publish them for visibility and transparency.
  • Contribute toward Community of Practices.
  • Facilitate synchronization meetings, including the program-level ART sync.
  • Assist with decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and the roll-up to Epics, where necessary.
  • Coach Leaders, Teams, and Scrum Masters at varying levels in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets
  • Help manage risks and dependencies.
  • Escalate and track impediments.
  • Encourage collaboration between Product, Technology, Client Services, and Teams.
  • Work with Product Management, Product Owners, Architects, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment.
  • Partner with the Program Management Office on program execution and operational excellence.
  • Understand and operate within budget guardrails.
  • Facilitate System Demos.
  • Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments .
  • A proven record of successful project delivery
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams across geographies.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified ScrumMaster , Certified SAFe 5 Program Consultant , Certified RTE preferred.
9+ years of Agile work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree e.g. Masters, MBA, or PhD.
Proficiency in Microsoft products such as MS Teams and Agile tools including JIRA & Jira Align.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical and business concepts, issues, and solutions to varying organizational levels.
Ability to analyze and organize a plan based upon available information.
Strong teamwork, interpersonal & relationship-building skills.
Ability to delegate tasks and ensure successful task completion and influence without direct authority to achieve necessary goals.
Strong leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to think on your feet.
Concentration in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
