Description:
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Lead to join the West of England Pathology Network and West of England Imaging Network teams.
The Programme Leads are vital roles within the dynamic Pathology and Imaging Network teams, with clinical leadership at their heart. The post will be integral to leading the Networks in the delivery of their ambitious programmes of work focused on:
Developing the Networks, including their target operating models and commercial structures, particularly around equipping and asset management
Maximising the benefits of digital technology to designing innovative ways of working across the Pathology Network and delivering the Digital Roadmap for Pathology
Driving quality, clinical effectiveness and standardisation
The post holder will play a key role in strategic planning across both Networks, providing support to the Network Programme Director, Senior Programme Lead, Senior Programme Manager, Lead Scientist and Clinical Leads in planning and implementing the Network work programmes. The post holder will ensure that quality improvement, governance and assurance are at the centre of all the programme activities.
YOU WILL:
Work with the Senior Programme Lead to implement the Pathology Digital Roadmap to achieve digital interoperability and excellence
Lead the development and implementation of the equipping approaches for the West of England Imaging Network and West of England Pathology Network
Support the implementation of Network plans to achieve “maturing” Network status by March 2025
Provide support to all other Network work programmes as required, including supporting the Network Programme Director across all work programmes as required
