We have an exciting opportunity to join the Centre for NMAHP Research and Education Excellence (CeNREE) at University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for a registered healthcare professional to further develop skills within research, contributing to improving and changing the future care of patients.
We are seeking a confident and experienced registrant, who is passionate about delivering high quality care, who enjoys a challenge and would welcome the opportunity to develop research and other opportunities for staff. You will provide specialist skills and knowledge to support the development and leadership of new programmes for our staff. You will work within the CeNREE team, with a high level of autonomy. You need to be an excellent team player, have good communication skills, excellent time management skills and attention to detail is a must.
The Centre for NMAHP Research and Education Excellence (CeNREE) provides support for UHNM staff to develop and engage in research and education. CeNREE aims to instil a change in philosophy by driving forward a visible and underpinning research focus in clinical practice. CeNREE will also provide the infrastructure for academic and clinical development for all UHNM NMAHPs.

TO LEAD ON PROGRAMMES OF WORK TO ATTRACT AND RETAIN NMAHPS:

The CeNREE Programme Lead will be seen as a leader within the organisation and it is essential that the postholder must be able to build strong relationships across the Trust. As a key change agent, the postholder will take ownership and manage day to day delivery of assigned projects. The role will be based in CeNREE and work within the corporate department.

Responsibilities:

To lead on the Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals (NMAHP) fellowship programme:
Working with teams across the Trust to develop and deliver a fellowship programme for NMAHPs (band 5 & 6’s)
Supporting delivery of training on the fellowship programme and coaching the fellowship students through their quality improvement, audit or research projects
This will include being responsible for negotiating with stakeholders and motivating teams to develop programme and project plans with clear outcomes.
To lead on the Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals (NMAHP) Legacy Mentorship programme:
Working with teams across the Trust to develop and deliver a Legacy Mentorship programme for NMAHPs that results in improved workforce retention outcomes
Supporting delivery of training on the Legacy Mentorship programme
This will include being responsible for negotiating with stakeholders and motivating teams to develop programme and project plans with clear outcomes.
