WHAT IS MY OVERALL ROLE PURPOSE?

As a Lead, you’ll be responsible for the academic leadership/management of our BSc Project Management degree apprenticeship programme. Working closely with the Dean and Associate Dean, you’ll be ensuring our learners enjoy the delivery of the programme and that they get the most out of it.

WHAT ARE MY RESPONSIBILITIES?

• 70% of your time will be spend delivering valuable workshops to our degree apprentices – roughly this will come to around 85 hours of workshops.
• You’ll be ensuring all marking of the assignments has been completed on time and to the correct standard.
• You’ll get involved in the assessment board/student rep/Skills coach and Tutor meetings – preparing reports, ensuring action points are followed up on and addressed.
• You will also respond to any programme inbox queries daily
• You will be responsible for completing the annual report within a given timeframe
• You’ll support the onboarding of new starters delivering on your programme i.e permanent staff, freelancers.
• You’ll collaborate effectively with the Head of Level and/or Associate Dean in managing the programme

WHAT DO I REQUIRE TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?

• You’ll need to hold an MSc/Master’s Degree in any subject
• You must hold a project management qualification – this can be any i.e PMP, PRINCE2, APM
• You should have some project management experience in industry
• You should have an academic background and at this level, we’d ask you have already held a role in module leadership or programme leadership.
