We are looking for a Programme Manager to join our Digital function, to lead growth initiatives and projects to help our ecommerce, marketplace and retail media Centres of Excellence (CoE). In collaboration with cross-functional teams across our retail banners in the UK, France, Iberia and Poland, this influential role will define and build solutions tailored for each market, enabling our banners to successfully establish and run their digital initiatives.

What’s the job?:

  • Develop and refine the digital and data strategy in alignment with the group’s business goals, facilitating the creation of a cohesive plan that integrates the initiatives from different CoEs
  • Oversee the portfolio of digital and data projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence and quality outcomes
  • Develop projects and initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams across the international organisation and communicate with internal and external parties, while meeting tight deadlines for high visibility projects
  • Establish and maintain robust communication channels with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring transparency in project statuses and fostering a collaborative environment
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in digital technologies, data science and analytics, advocating for and facilitating the adoption of best practices, innovative solutions and emerging technologies
  • Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement and ensuring that team members are equipped with the skills and resources needed to excel in their roles

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience managing and leading international digital projects within ecommerce, retail, marketplace industries
  • Experience working with Project Management tools (Asana, Jira, etc.) and MS Excel (Macros, statistics, etc.)
  • Proven experience developing original ideas, approaches and solutions to typical, unusual, or difficult situations in a competitive and ever-changing business climate
  • Experience working in a multicultural team and organisation
  • Highly organised and results oriented with a strong hands-on attitude and high degree of ownership
  • A skilled and experienced influencer capable of navigating large and complex organisations to generate positive change
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent analytical capabilities
