ABOUT US

Dyson is a global technology enterprise. We solve the problems others choose to ignore, with surprising new inventions that defy convention and simply work better. Our new product teams take radical new ideas and develop them into reality. They explore the limits of our technology and optimise it through relentless experimenting, testing and iterating. They then develop new ways to evaluate performance, to accurately position our technology against our competition.

Responsibilities:

To support the R&D and New Product Innovation teams, we are looking for several Programme Managers (Senior to Principal levels) who sits alongside the Product Design Manager to deliver projects to support our future ambitions across existing and exciting new categories within Dyson. The role is instrumental in the delivery of the product range and technologies ensuring projects are delivered on time meet technical specification and are within cost.

Along with the Product Design Manager, your key responsibilities are:

  • To be responsible for delivering products during the product lifecycles to time, specification and cost
  • To own the project plan, managing critical path items and assess the impact of any changes
  • To identify and manage stakeholders, identify and resolve conflict, while empowering the team to deliver
  • To develop the project scope and objectives, involving the relevant stakeholders to ensure timely delivery
  • To own the project risk register, including identification, mitigation and escalation
  • To create resourced plans to determine project demand versus available allocation
  • To manage and utilise systems, processes and resources to facilitate the optimal delivery of projects
  • To manage progress; and analyse, collate, and report the project status
  • To capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team
  • To promote Project Management principles and best practices to optimise delivery.
