Description:

This role is based within the Finance Team supporting the delivery of Cost Improvement Plans and future Financial Sustainability. On a standard day the successful candidate will apply experience of programme management whilst working with clinical leads, operational managers and at time Exec’s to deliver productivity/efficiency benefits for the Trust. You will use your skills to build relationships to bring teams together and to find new innovative/efficient ways for working.
This role offers the opportunity to work flexibly however a minimum 2 days a week in the office (Bristol) is expected.
A presentation or focus group ‘test’ will form part of the interview process.
Interviews are planned for the 10th July 2024 and will take place face to face.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Programme Manager to join our Finance team to deliver Trust-Wide projects.
The post holder will be responsible for overseeing wider stakeholder engagement, project planning, resourcing, governance, delivery, testing, communication and rollout of key trust driven changes.
The role will report into the Assistant Director of Financial Sustainability as well as having the opportunity to work autonomously and link with senior stakeholders across the Trust , while ensuring alignment with the Trust’s business plans, vision, purpose and values.

Responsibility for managing allocated programmes and associated projects through their lifecycle from inception to delivery. Within the programme, the role holder will be responsible for:
Managing the programme and projects on a day to day basis.
Developing programme and project documentation.
Writing Business cases and managing them through the organisational review and approval cycle.
Identifying and supporting achievement of project benefits realisation.
Planning programmes and project tranches.
Developing Programme blueprints
Organising and running programme and project boards.
Proving routine reporting and communications material for boards and into the wider organisation.
Deputise for the SRO as required
Responsibility for providing, as necessary, support and challenge to of the aligned Clinical Division and/ or Corporate areas to identify and drive financial delivery:
Support, as necessary, the identification and delivery of Cost Improvement Programme (CIP) targets and metrics
Support, as necessary, the identification of new projects and the benefits that these will deliver. Generally these will be cost improvement initiatives. There will be an expectation to understand the financial performance and forecast of the Division/Corporate, along with CIP identification and delivery progress and potentially also ad hoc areas.
Drive the timely completion and sign off of detailed delivery plans and Quality Impact Assessments for CIP schemes.
