Can you bring a Pacific worldview to the work we are doing to achieve better health outcomes for Pacific people in Aotearoa? We know many areas of the health system are not working well for Pacific people, aiga, ngutuare tangata, famili, kāinga, magafoa, kaiga, vuvale and kaaiga (families) and communities. In fact, Pacific health inequities are observed throughout the lifecourse, from pregnancy and early childhood through to older age.
In Pacific Health, we have a clear vision of a system that allows the strength of Pacific families and community voice to be at the heart of what we do, delivering equitable health outcomes for Pacific people and a future where Pacific families live longer, healthier lives.
The Pacific values of family, service, love, reciprocity and respect, along with Pacific culture and customs, influence the way we think and every action we take.
The Pacific Health Group have an opportunity for a Programme Manager to join the Office of the National Director. The primary purpose of this position is to provide programme management expertise and workstream management of Pacific Health projects. The role has a particular focus on the operational and business requirements that would enable successful project delivery and will require strong engagement with Pacific Health at all levels: nationally, regionally, and locally. This a vital role in leading and motivating the project teams to ensure that outcomes are achieved, and any risks are managed.
