MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Advanced university degree in political science, social science, international development, international relations or a related field.
• Five years of relevant experience in partnership and/or programme management, partnership development, policy analysis or related area.
• Working knowledge (proficient - level C) of English and limited knowledge (intermediate - level B) of another official FAO language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish).

TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

• Work experience in more than one location or area of work, particularly in field positions, is desirable.
• Extent and relevance of experience in the field of partnerships.
• Experience working on advocacy and outreach topics would be an asset.
• Experience working with the Host Government is considered a strong asset.
• Understanding of FAO policies and programmes is considered a strong asset.
• Experience in drafting documents and reports in English for high-level management is a strong asset.
