The Innovation and Technology Department - Water and Waste Division is offering Internship employment opportunities as a Programmer Analyst 1 Intern (Desktop Support) to work in the Desktop Support stream approximately from May 1, 2024 to August 30, 2024.

YOUR EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

• Successful completion of at least 1 year of a recognized university/college program in Information Systems and Technology, or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Microsoft A+ certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of current microcomputer hardware and software.
• Demonstrated skill in the use of Microsoft Operating Systems including Windows 10.
• Ability to use Office 365 Suite products.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational and time management skills with the ability to be flexible and responsive to changing priorities.
• Ability to develop effective and positive working relationships.
• IMPORTANT: Applicants who have been educated outside of Canada must have education which is comparable to the minimum qualification in Canada.
