The Boeing Company is currently seeking a high performing Entry level and Associate level Programmer Analysts to join the IPDM (Integrated Product Data Management) Development team in Hazelwood, MO; Berkeley, MO; Charleston, SC; or Seattle, WA.
The IPDM Development team provides comprehensive software solutions to rapidly access and visually transform complex engineering and manufacturing product data. Responsibilities include development and integration for a variety of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and in-house software applications supporting our engineering/manufacturing teams.
This position requires working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results. Strong communication skills are required both verbally and written, to interact with peers and customers. Job requires the ability to work well with others on a team as well as independently. Other qualities for this candidate are a positive attitude, self-motivated, the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Active Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance
  • Technical bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree
  • 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience working with Teamcenter or on the IPDM Program
  • Previous experience leading a diverse Agile software development team
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Systems, or similar field is preferred
  • Strong communication skills to work across teams and to coordinate work scope

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with design, programming, and executing simple test plans
  • Implements, documents, and maintains basic computing applications
  • Writes and compiles basic code and constructs basic database objects based on documented design
  • Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality
  • Assists in gathering information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements.
    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
