Description:

An opportunity has arisen to join a supportive team in a fast paced environment as the Programmer/Business Analyst. This is an ongoing contract role based in Homebush/hybrid.

About the role

  • Develop and manage applications in the areas of Warehouse Management System (WMS), Business intelligence, as well as various peripheral applications and interfaces.
  • Provide IT support for sales order processing, shipping, work order, within the WMS system.
  • Conduct investigation into perceived problem areas or inefficiencies in solutions provided, and initiate rectification using processes and methodologies.
  • Prepare maintenance plans and upgrade schedules for the various company systems.

About you

  • Experience using Progress 4GL and Progress DBA.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within distribution and/or manufacturing industries.
  • Exceptional communication skills; must be able to connect, collaborate and engage with all stakeholders.
  • Task-focused, with high attention to detail and time management skills.
  • SQL Server, Linux scripting is highly desired.
