Description:
An opportunity has arisen to join a supportive team in a fast paced environment as the Programmer/Business Analyst. This is an ongoing contract role based in Homebush/hybrid.
About the role
- Develop and manage applications in the areas of Warehouse Management System (WMS), Business intelligence, as well as various peripheral applications and interfaces.
- Provide IT support for sales order processing, shipping, work order, within the WMS system.
- Conduct investigation into perceived problem areas or inefficiencies in solutions provided, and initiate rectification using processes and methodologies.
- Prepare maintenance plans and upgrade schedules for the various company systems.
About you
- Experience using Progress 4GL and Progress DBA.
- Previous experience in a similar role within distribution and/or manufacturing industries.
- Exceptional communication skills; must be able to connect, collaborate and engage with all stakeholders.
- Task-focused, with high attention to detail and time management skills.
- SQL Server, Linux scripting is highly desired.
