We are excited to offer the role of a Project Accountant.
This Project Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of IT projects, including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, reporting and auditing. This role will work closely with IT project managers, the finance team and the vendors to ensure the accuracy and compliance of project financials. This role will also provide financial analysis and recommendations to support the decision making and for performance improvement of the IT projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Prepare and uphold the project budget and forecasts, tracking actual costs and variances.
  • Review and sanction project invoices and expenditures, ensuring prompt and precise billing and collections.
  • Compile and deliver project financial reports and dashboards, offering insights and explanations on the financial status and performance of the project.
  • Perform project financial audits and reviews, upholding compliance with company policies and vendor contracts.
  • Detect and address project financial risks and issues, escalating them when necessary.
  • Work in tandem with IT project managers, the finance team, and vendors to settle any financial inquiries and disputes related to the project. Aid IT project managers in project planning, execution, and closure, providing financial advice and support.
  • Enhance the project financial procedures and systems continuously, adopting best practices and standards.Provide assistance on various projects as needed, including Group Finance-related projects and as a financial resource on interdisciplinary projects.
