THE OPPORTUNITY

Our Finance professionals play a key role in guiding critical business decisions and cutting-edge solutions for the world’s leading aerospace company. We are seeking an experienced Project Accountant / Finance Analystto support the P-8A Program. The P-8A Poseidon aircraft plays an important role in Australia’s national security -providing maritime patrol and response services. Our ideal candidate will have, relevant experience and knowledge regarding the principles, tools and procedures of project cost control and schedule management, and, demonstrated computer skills across a variety of platforms including Microsoft Office. Experience using Scheduling tools such as Open Plan and COBRA is preferred.
This role is based at RAAF Base Edinburgh.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline is highly desirable (e.g. Accounting or Business Management).
  • Previous Defence Industry experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to deliver on time with high quality
  • Financial modelling and analysis capability
  • Familiarity with Open Plan and Cobra preferred.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office applications
    Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
