Job Description
As our Project Accountant you will support the project delivery teams at NEXTDC covering task relating to all financial aspects of project administration.
You will undertake and coordinate activities in relation to all phases of project delivery and data centre development, including monitoring of project progress, reporting on project expenditure, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and project cost control.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Excel and SharePoint skills
  • Able to communicate financial information
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with project managers in a cross functional capacity
  • Manage multiple activities and task

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for financial administration of projects including reconciling and reporting actuals, forecast, and variances against budgets;
  • Performing monthly reconciliation of project work in progress (WIP), and financial close processes upon completion of project;
  • Assisting project delivery teams with the preparation of monthly project cash flows;
  • Monthly project budget reviews with project managers and provide the expenditure reforecasts as an input to month-end reporting processes
  • Assisting with audit queries and request for information as required;
