Description:

Position Overview:
The Construction Project Coordinator is responsible for the onsite coordination of assigned commercial refrigeration construction projects, from award to completion. This position works closely with the project management team to create project schedules and documentation. As the first point of contact for field team, a strong working relationship is key. This position is located in Aldergrove, BC.

Field Support:

  • Manage each project on a proactive basis, coordinate with sub-contractors / trades
  • Coordinate and allocate labor and parts to projects
  • Providing progress report to both client and project manager for each project
  • Ensuring any required changes to project scope are communicated with required take-offs within 24hrs
  • Overseeing the work being completed on each job sites while directing technicians as needed
  • Building credible rapport with all customers, suppliers, TSBC officers
  • Ability to complete on site take-offs for quoting and change orders
  • Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Assist with site safety program implementation

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education or training in construction management, refrigeration trade certification/experience relevant to the construction industry is required
  • Project management experience within a related field is desired
  • Exceptional communication, organizational and planning skills
  • Critical thinking & problem solving skills
  • Adaptable, flexible and strong time management skills
