Description:
The Project Analyst & Support Officer is an integral part of the Corporate Quality Team. Will take an active role in key work-streams that support the delivery of high-quality care, compassion and a positive patient experience which are at the heart of the nursing delivery system. Provide support for Trust wide components of the Trusts Nursing, Midwifery & AHP strategy implementation. Provide specialist technical advice & support to the Quality Team in relation to Data Informatics & IT systems to support & deliver the Quality agenda.
Ensure staff are regularly updated on emerging IT issues affecting departmental services. To be part of the Quality Safety & Improvement Strategy Group & assist in shaping data services for monitoring quality & safety. To support the Trust audit programme to improve the quality of patient care whilst focusing on Patient Experience, outcomes, and safety. To provide technical & administrative support to the Quality Team in delivering trust initiatives, programs of improvement & transformation.
Develop & maintain internal procedures & documentation to support the efficient running of Quality Team. Be responsible for the development, coordination & monitoring of the assessment schedule to facilitate the Trusts StARS accreditation program liaising with Senior Nursing staff from the divisions to ensure delivery within planned targets. Liaise & co-ordinate with senior nurses, clinicians & AHPs across all divisions to co-ordinate attendance at formal StARS Accreditation outcome feedback meetings. Be part of the post assessment panel discussion & be responsible for the collation of the assessment findings, working collaboratively to produce the written accreditation reports.
Ensure all information is managed sensitively, & the document management systems are maintained. Liaise with the Assistant Chief Nurse & Quality Matrons to define & analyse service requirements to deliver improvements & operational efficiencies using technology. Support the Quality Team to analyse trends & outcomes to identify areas of concern /improvement. Support the Quality Team with ad-hoc information requests.
