REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a project assistant/coordinator role;
  • Diploma or Certificate in Interior Design or Interior Decorating;
  • Knowledge of different types of materials
  • Exceptional customer service skills – you must possess a positive and good attitude with the ability to maintain good communication with team members, clients and vendors;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills – you must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively;
  • Strong business writing acumen
  • Must be proactive, communicative, and able to work with minimal supervision;
  • A quick learner, self-motivated and extremely detailed-oriented;
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, chaotic environment;
  • Highly proficiency with Microsoft office programs – especially Excel;
  • Knowledge of NetSuite (or another CRM/ERP system) is advantageous;
  • Resourceful and creative;
  • Strong problem solving skills and a solid solutions-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE – PROJECT ASSISTANT

eurOptimum is looking for highly skilled Project Assistant to join our Corporate department. This position requires excellent customer service and strong organizational skills.
Please note that this position will be working from our Toronto head-office fulltime.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Sales Rep/Project Managers in meeting individual and departmental goals;
  • Support an efficient and streamlined project management process;
  • Learn, understand and apply industry best practices, product knowledge and manufacturing processes;
  • Manage accounts receivables, expense reports, and invoicing;
  • Produce purchase orders, packing slips, shipping waybills, and all other project related documentation;
  • Coordinate, schedule, and troubleshoot installations;
  • Plan and coordinate travel arrangements;
  • Plan and coordinate catering arrangements;
  • Gather pricing from vendors;
  • Prepare client quotations;
  • Coordinate with internal design department;
  • Plan and coordinate client appreciation events;
  • Provide high quality customer service;
  • Ensure account information and sales opportunities are up-to-date in NetSuite at all times.
