Description:

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONAS PROJECT CHANGE MANAGER, YOU WILL:

  • Deliver, lead and manage change and communication activities to achieve agreed project objectives in a timely and efficient manner, aligning with QLeave Project Management methodology.
  • Develop and execute change management and transition plans relevant to the project, ensuring alignment with the QLeave change management strategy.
  • Identify, assess, understand and manage change impacts resulting from project implementation, including assigning roles and responsibilities for management of change impacts, reporting and progress tracking.
  • Identify and evaluate risk and manage through appropriate mitigation strategies, to ensure project success.
  • Work with business owners to ensure process and policy changes are progressed in parallel to the project and are communicated and accepted by end-users as appropriate.
  • Monitor, promote, and document the benefits realisation of the project.
  • Prepare and deliver a range of communications to internal and external stakeholders, team members and governance bodies, to ensure that others are fully briefed on project objectives, tasks and progress.
  • Manage readiness and transition activities for internal stakeholders, utilising appropriate status reporting and tracking.
  • Develop learning and development plans in collaboration with relevant unit managers and provide input and support into learning and development design.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure project success, lead workshops and meetings focused on change and communication planning and readiness activities.
  • Effectively collaborate and work closely with he Project Manager and other project roles.
  • Review the technical and business design requirements of projects and identify change management and training requirements.
  • Manage change management resource requirements according to project schedules to meet project milestones.
  • Monitor and evaluate change management progress and risks and assist with reporting on these items appropriately to key stakeholders.
  • Initiate, influence, and maintain relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders facilitating effective communication channels to promote the successful delivery of change management activities including feedback mechanisms, impact triage and management of expectations.
  • Provide change advice relating to systems implementation to ensure that functionality aligns with established business requirements and functional models.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and training to other team members to enable ongoing support of the solution.
  • Liaise, consult, and negotiate effectively with team members, other project teams, stakeholders, and customer groups to develop and maintain effective working relationships and the integrity of the QLeave operating environment.
  • Any other tasks as directed from time to time as directed by your supervisor.
    This position reports to the Director Technology, Data and Strategic Projects and has no supervisory responsibilities.

  • Manage change or communication activities in multiple projects and initiatives (if required).
  • Demonstrate experience in change management planning and an excellent understanding of change methodologies, tools and techniques within a complex ICT program/project(s) environment.
  • Demonstrate ability to develop and maintain relationships with key internal project stakeholders and external technology vendors to partner with and engage them in delivering the required project outcomes.
  • Demonstrate experience leading and executing change management cycles and activities within a complex project or organisation.

There are no mandatory qualifications for this role, however formal training and/or experience in current and progressive change management methodology strategies at a project level will be highly regarded.
