JOB DESCRIPTION

Following an internal promotion, we are looking to recruit a permanent Project Co-ordinator to join our Oil and Gas Project Management team in Hartlepool, this role will provide assistance to the Project Managers during their day-to-day Project Management activities.
As an excellent communicator you will liaise with all appropriate departments across JDR to ensure the flow of information between departments and to the customers, to assist the Project Managers with information to compile project progress reports.

Reporting into the Oil and Gas Project Management team your main responsibilities will include:

  • Acquire in depth knowledge of projects being supported, by attending Hub and Planning meetings, ensuring requirements and/or concerns are cascaded to the Project Manager.
  • Co-ordination of Notice of Inspections (NOI) which includes the construction and submission of, as well as liaison with Client and internal stakeholders to ensure that all arrangements are timely and accurately.
  • Raise and maintain Packing Lists.
  • Provide day-to-day support for Project Managers including attendance at internal and external meetings as required by the Project Managers.
  • Prepare reports and/or provide information/documentation for reports as required by the Project Managers. Including weekly/monthly reporting to support the Project Manager.
  • Liaise fully with all appropriate departments to ensure timely output of both information, product, and documentation to satisfy requirements. Involvement in prioritisation process for project documentation in conjunction with other internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Facilitate the administration and production processes, where applicable, to ensure effective dovetailing between departments.
  • Formulate good working relationships with customers.
  • Take ownership of customer problems and action accordingly in conjunction with Project Managers, such as reviewing Production Plans issued by Procurement and report any issues to avoid any delays.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

You will be a strong administrator, who is organised and methodical in their approach. Self-motivated, with a commercial focus, you will acquire in depth knowledge of projects being supported to enable you to support the Project Managers on a daily basis. Ideally with experience working within a proceduralised environment you will be key to the day-to-day support for the Project Management team. A strong team player, you will have experience of collaborative working and have a flexible approach with the ability to deal with conflicting demands on your time.
