Description:
We are recruiting a Project Communications Graduate Program 2024 to work with our multi-disciplinary consultancy teams of Engineers, Environmental Scientists, Planners and Communications professionals delivering major infrastructure projects across Ireland. Our projects include key initiatives towards delivering Ireland’s Climate Action Plan such as onshore and offshore renewable energy, water and sustainable transport infrastructure.
With 16 Project Communications consultants in Ireland, we continue to grow due to a very strong pipeline of work including public consultation and stakeholder engagement to inform government policy and major infrastructure projects for our clients across the public and private sectors.
We are keen to hear from candidates who have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in this growing sector.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
To be considered for our graduate programme you will need to be on course for achieving a relevant degree on one of the following subjects:
Primary degree / previous study / work experience in the areas of Geography / Environmental Science / Economics / Law / STEM subjects / Community Sector; with a communications / marketing post-grad (Diploma / Master’s) ideally.

We are looking out for people who take opportunities, those who are keen to learn and develop, intelligent risk takers who are not scared to try new things, and who adapt and move quickly.
KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Must be interested and engaged in Irish and EU current affairs, e.g. climate change, sustainability, strategic infrastructure projects, Irish planning and economic development
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with the confidence to engage meaningfully with stakeholders.
- Fluent English speaker with excellent Writing Skills
- A very good Listener
- Strong Research and Analytical skills
- Competent in the MS Office suite of applications
- Previous experience in office administration, customer care, call-centre, including voluntary or part-time activities would be advantageous.
- As we engage with Gaeltacht communities, fluent Irish speaker would be advantageous but not necessary.
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate as part of an interdisciplinary team managing incoming stakeholder queries about a range of projects on the telephone and email.
- Stakeholder mapping
- Processing stakeholder data ensuring attention to detail.
- Analysing and categorizing stakeholder feedback from public consultations and surveys
- Writing reports, meeting notes, information materials to turn complex information into Plain English
- Researching technical / environmental information
- Compile and maintain accurate stakeholder databases.
