Description:

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Hold a relevant degree – ideally in a construction related subject.
  • Experience of utilities/water infrastructure project management, planning or cost management.
  • Experience using relevant tools: e.g. Primavera P6, MS Office Applications and cost management systems.
  • Experience working in a water/utilities environment.
  • Depending on the role:
  • Have experience in planning, monitoring, and reviewing schedules both on-site and remotely.
  • Experience of managing contractors, consultants, and other advisors on infrastructure projects
  • Direct experience of deploying cost management systems and process on major programmes.
  • Consultancy experience or excellent customer facing skills.
  • Understanding of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up processes.
  • Knowledge of NEC contract processes – NEC3 form of contract (Options A, C & E).
  • Risk management experience.
