JOB DESCRIPTION:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Control Specialist to join our team! In this role you will join a team of experienced project control specialists to support a rapidly growing, highly visible FEDSIM project .
WHAT REQUIRED SKILLS YOU’LL BRING:
- 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (or equivalent)
- 3-8 years of related work experience
- Experience in dealing with various types of contracts (e.g., firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-award-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and time and material)
- Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelAbility to work both independently and part of a team
WHAT DESIRED SKILLS YOU’LL BRING:
- Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint
- Experience with GSA FEDSIM contract vehicles
- Ability to use complex/advanced Excel formulas

Responsibilities:
- Creating and analyzing financial forecasts
- Utilizing financial tools to mitigate risk
- Facilitating the development of work breakdown structures (WBS)
- Establishing baseline budgets
- Coordinating with Finance personnel, Project Managers, and Subcontract Administrators
- Evaluating subcontractor forecasts and actual charges
- Completing customer deliverables and ad hoc reporting
- Guiding project managers to ensure compliance with polices and procedures
