Description:
Fraser Valley Refrigeration is a rapidly growing and dynamic organization of approximately 150 employees working across 4 Western Canadian provinces, specializing in the fields of industrial and institutional Refrigeration, HVAC and mechanical services and retrofit. With a workforce of over 100 field technicians, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Project Manager to oversee and support the operational and field processes for our ammonia specialty business across our regional company.
Position Overview:
The Assistant Project Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of all construction projects, from award to completion. This position works closely with the project management team to create detailed project schedules and documentation. As the first point of contact for field team, a strong working relationship is key.
Key Responsibilities
Field Support:
- Coordinate and allocate labor and parts to projects with Field Supervisor
- Develop and implement project documentation for Field Team
- Coordinate between field team and project stakeholders
- Technician support as needed
- Ensure all equipment and materials are ordered and allocated to correct field team
Administrative Support
- Communicate project deliverables to key project stakeholders
- Manage relationships between field and office staff
- Responsible for project documentation
- Project purchasing, and inventory management
- Coordinate documentation with regulatory bodies (TSBC)
- Assist draftsperson with project drawings and FVR standards libraries
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Effective time management
- Adaptability
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in using service management software, tools and Microsoft Office programs
- Valid Driver’s License Required
Compensation: $29 an hour
