Essential Responsibilities:

  • Promotes a culture of health, safety and environmental protection on the project by taking an active role in the implementation of the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to achieve compliance with Ledcor HS&E standards, applicable OH&S Acts, regulations and codes
  • Skillfully administers the Project Quality Plan, ensuring adherence to rigorous standards.
  • Establishes and maintains essential project start-up systems and procedures, including the setup of job site trailers or offices, meticulous filing systems, accurate project billings, and streamlined cost accounting systems.
  • Executes a range of administrative and record-keeping tasks, from reviewing and distributing documentation to crafting correspondence and compiling meeting minutes.
  • Provides vital support for subcontract management and procurement processes, from tendering and awarding work to processing invoices and facilitating document reviews.
  • Efficiently coordinates the change order management process, including securing pricing, inputting data, and submitting change requests for approval.
  • Actively participates in tracking project milestones, maintaining project schedules, and preparing for smooth project closeout.
  • Ensures seamless project closeout by collecting necessary documentation, creating turnover documents, and overseeing site demobilization and document archiving.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience combination.
  • Completed post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Proficient in construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current industry practices.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with project stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving ability in moderately complex situations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, including scheduling software proficiency.
