Description:
What We Need
Corpay is looking to hire a Project Coordinator within our Accounting & Finance division. This position falls under our Cross-Border line of business and is located in Toronto, ON. In this role, you will be working side by side with the Internal Audit team, but focus on projects that are of priority to the business. This is a unique role as it reports to the VP of Internal Audit and Special Projects and collaborates with a multitude of departments on various projects – this could include anything from sales, credit finance, IT, HR, and beyond.

Role Responsibilities
Qualifications & Skills
- Accounting/finance degree is an asset, but bachelor’s degree with project coordination experience would be sufficient.
- 2-3 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Preferred familiarity with the financial technology industr
Responsibilities:
- Planning and executing projects with precision, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within the defined scope, while keeping a keen eye on budgetary constraints.
- Creating detailed project plans that include financial tracking and reporting mechanisms to monitor progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Collaborating with the finance department to prepare and analyze financial reports related to project performance, providing insights that will guide strategic decisions.
- Working closely with the internal audit team to ensure that all projects adhere to financial policies and procedures, and to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to align project goals with the overall financial objectives of the company.
- Assisting in the development of financial models and tools to enhance budgeting and forecasting accuracy for projects.
