Corrpro Canada is Canada’s largest corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for protecting and preserving infrastructure. We provide professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro Canada has complete construction installation services, including crews and equipment to install any cathodic protection system for any type of structure.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor or Post Secondary degree with E.I.T., P.Eng. or T.T./C.E.T./P.Tech an asset
  • 2 or more years of project coordination experience with oil, gas or construction projects, or 5 or more years of materials and/or logistics/planning experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail are imperative to success in this position
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and be able to adjust to dynamic situations
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), Microsoft Project, Internet databases and email required
  • JD Edwards experience desired
  • Must be able to travel occasionally as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Operations, Engineering and Construction Managers to ensure optimum project efficiency and profitability on all projects
  • Communicate schedule recommendations to management staff, sales and the customers
  • Complete logistical coordination for all aspects (materials, equipment & subcontractors) of local operation
  • Assist with coordination and preparation of submittals, materials and training needed for projects based on provided specifications and customer needs
  • Manage projects by ordering materials, providing necessary documentation to field staff for job start
  • Coordinate and maintain the construction schedule for bid and proposal preparation
  • Maintain project management database; generate reports to track job costs
  • Estimate labor, equipment, and tools needed for projects
  • Review contract or delivery order and its specifications of work
  • Initiate and recommend solutions to problems relating to the product, process and quality systems
