About us
The Portable Long Service Authority (the Authority) is an independent statutory body established to administer the Long Service Benefits Portability Act 2018. The Act, together with the Long Service Benefits Portability Regulations 2020 provide a Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme. The Authority plays an important role in allowing workers in the community services, contract cleaning and security industries to build up long service benefits based on time in their industry rather than with a single employer. About the role
The Authority is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Project Coordinator to work closely with the newly created Project Management Office and partner with Project Sponsors to implement the Authority’s strategic priorities. The Project Coordinator will work under the direction of the Senior Project Manager to partner with all areas of the organisation, and will be tasked with delivering project outputs, developing project plans, project schedules and identifying and coordinating any required resources, acting as the subject matter expert in process mapping, and promote a continuous improvement culture within the organisation.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have strong project management experience and be able to develop and deliver project plans. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to partner with internal stakeholders, communicate objectives and promote change acceptance. You will need to demonstrate analytical and conceptual skills, ability to take initiative and problem solve, as well as a continuous improvement mindset. Experience in Lean Six Sigma, Agile or similar project management principles will be highly regarded.
