About:
Our client, a major tier one institution with multiple sites across Melbourne is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical biased Project Coordinator to oversee complex building upgrades.
Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced Project Coordinator/Engineer with a background in facilities hard services projects who can lead multiple major building upgrades. In terms of prior experience, you ideally will have worked in the University, Healthcare or Pharmaceutical sector and be able to lead works on substation upgrades, access controls and heat pump systems projects. You will have experience in scoping works, delivering briefs, concept design work, preparing tender documentation, appointing consultants and end to end project management.
You will have worked on the following systems:
- BMS, HVAC and Electrical projects
- UPS, BMS, CCTV & Fire detection systems
- Grid and generator power management systems
Emergency lightingVertical transport systems
Requirements:
- 5+ years project management experience
- Background in Facilities Management/Building Services
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience in managing project finances and reporting
- Government contracts/tendering experience
- Asset lifecycle, planning and risk management experience
