Description:

GENERAL SUMMARY

Assists Project Managers in organizing our ongoing project(s). This task involves monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field of study preferred
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience in a related field.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other computer programs.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.
  • May not be a Member of the Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians, relative of a Viejas Tribal Member, or in a relationship which may impair the ability to be remain impartial.
